Food Paradise

Hello people!! I just came back from Penang a couple days ago. The trip started on the 16 November 2008, Sunday. We depart at 7 am and reached Penang about 11 something. On the first day, we did not do much things except window shopping at Queensbay mall in the night.

Day 2

In the morning, we went to Air Itam market to have food which could not be found in KL. Kiuh Chiap (i'm not too sure about the spelling). It is a must to eat this when you go to Penang.

After that, in the afternoon, we went to a food court which located in Georgetown to have our lunch. There is a stall famous in selling Beef Keoy Theow Noodles. Later, we visit the Sleeping Buddha Temple to pray for luck, love, health and everything else. In the night, we thought of going to Gurney Drive but there was heavy downpour. In the end, we went to Tesco to have McDonalds.

Day 3

In the morning, we went to have breakfast somewhere in Greenlane, opposite Lam Wah Ee hospital. Then, we proceeded to Penang Hill. However, we managed to went up to middle of the hill because the track was under construction. In the Penang Hill, we meet Li Shuang with her family. After that, we went back home together then we went to Gold Coast Resort to swim. In the night, we went to Pasar Malam in Batu Ferringgi, Gurney Drive and Li Shuang's hotel room to play cards.

Day 4

In the morning, we went to Lorong Selamat to have Char Keoy Theow. However, when we sat in the coffee shop, there were no one serve us. Therefore, we went to another coffee shop to have our breakfast. After that, we fetched Li Shuang and we went to Gurney Plaza. Overthere, we went to Redbox and shopping. In the night, went to Li Shuang's room to play cards. After that, her brother brought us to the hotel lounge to have some drinks.

Day 5

Last Day in Penang. In the morning, packed our stuff and get ready back to KL. Before leaving the Island, we went to buy biscuit from Him Heang then have famous Penang Mee Goreng in Bangkok Lane. After that, we left the Island by taking feri. Then, we stopped by at Ipoh to have Ipoh's famous chicken rice. At around 7 something in the evening, we reached KL.
